Scorpio Full Moon -- May 2, 2007
One of the most difficult lessons of early childhood is learning how to share. When you discover the concept of "mine," as well as the sensual delights of touching, smelling, tasting, viewing and hearing your toys, the loss of "yours" to someone else brings up all these dark feelings: rage, coveting, jealousy, possessiveness. Mom must intervene at the sandbox, teach you a "life lesson."After graduating from toys, you move on to other acquisitions, but is sharing any easier? Can you share your spouse? Time on your entertainment system? Your hard-earned money? NO! IT'S MINE! I worked my butt off to get these things -- do you think I'm just going to hand them over to someone else?
Yet, how lonely is it when you keep your possessions to yourself? Why bust your buns, if not to share what you have with your loved ones? It can be easy to do so, when it bridges the gap between yourself and someone else. You give freely when you trust another.
In fact, do you really "own" anything? It all turns to dust. Your money, your house, it just gets transferred to someone else when you die, or it decays over time. Your possessions only provide an illusion of security. Don't get me wrong, creature comforts are important, and you need to pay your rent, but what do you really need? The intimacy you share with another human being, the trust you develop by having integrity ... are these intangibles not more valuable than your car?
You can lose all your worldly possessions in the fire, or you can lose yourself in the fire of regeneration. When you merge with another, a part of you dies, but you become larger as a result.

If I could just find someone to share with!
Wow, Jeff, this is totally right on. With my Scorpio North Node, this really speaks to me in terms of leaving the need for security behind.
In any case, you're writing as a true Pisces! And with Moon in Aquarius. Of all the signs, Pisces is the least likely to be concerned with material possessions. Merging with another is far more important as a life goal. And Aquarius always shares what she has, whether it's toys, money, or knowledge.
I don't like to lend out my CDs.
Well if you won't lend me your CDs, dude, how about a mix tape? Share the love! ;)
I like this piece a lot, Jeff. Sharing is a theme I'm sure I'll be exploring indepth over the next couple of years, as transiting Pluto opposes my natal Venus. Although holding on to junk (Venus in Cancer?) is more of a problem for me than sharing, as a rule.
Lately I've been thinking - though knock on wood, because I hate to tempt fate - that it would almost be a relief to lose everything in a fire. And then just slowly rebuild with only the things I really want now.
I need to find someone to share with also. I'm a Scorpio sun with Aquarius moon and I love to share - toys, money, knowledge. But not a partner.
I must take what is mine and leave it behind so I can climb to a new place now.
odd timing. considering i've just sold all my worldly possessions. and then a car fire threatened to destroy the few precious books i saved and stored.
i'm a scorpio riding bikes across europe, with just a few necessities strapped to my bike frame. left my lover in the new mexican desert (long distance has been hard but rewarding). the full moon in scorpio had me curious and i ended up here. thanks for the insights.
As the old saying goes, "sharing is caring!"
I have a Scorpio moon so this should be a significant time for me, no?
I have a hard time sharing how I feel with others...
Blah Blah, it would depend on the degree of your Moon. Your Moon is at 22 Scorpio, and the Full Moon was at 11, so it wouldn't impact your Moon. However you have Jupiter at 11 Leo, so the Full Moon is squaring it. Difficulty finding opportunites to feel special?
