Virgo woman cheated on Capricorn with Leo, wants Cap to take her back

natal chartAutumn provide a birth time (click chart to view) and writes,
I was dating a Capricorn "man" about a year and a half my junior for nearly six months when a Leo man (birthday 19 August) I had been interested in for four years began to return my affections. He did so by sending me elaborate messages, letters, and cards explaining his love for me and how it "killed" him to see me with the Capricorn, a very close friend of his. Although it was frightening, I was sort-of “amoured” by his extravagant expressions and I ended up cheating on my boyfriend with him -- nothing more than kissing -- but it was more an affair of the heart.

The Capricorn boyfriend actually witnessed a kiss, but immediately forgave me and told me he loved me and would like to continue the relationship, if I was willing. We dated for a month or so longer, and I broke up with him for the intellectual, enthralling Leo.

The relationship with the Leo began to slowly wither, but occasionally it would spark up again, but he forbade me to tell the Capricorn because they were both good friends. Eventually and inevitably, he found out. Leo immediately stopped calling, stopped message, and completely avoided me. He told me he wanted to break up temporarily, yet still tried to kiss me and always said things such as, "I love you and I want to be with you again" when we departed.

A shocking "back-story" however: The Leo man was "in love" to the point of obsession with the Capricorn for nearly two years. He is a somewhat closeted bisexual, but I feel he prefers males. The Capricorn has "made-out" with the former, but claims that was a youthful mistake and that he is straight.

I regret hurting my beloved Capricorn, with whom I've had a captivating, amazing sex life with and who has always been kind to me and proven that he would be an amazing long-term boyfriend.

I would like to date him again, and he has informed me that he still wants to be with me... he just does not want to date right now. His attitude towards me has understandably changed.

Although the Leo is still claiming he loves me, I have recently, nearly broken off communications with him.

Do you have any advice on how to win back the Capricorn's heart and prove to him that I will be faithful?

Based on our charts, is it even wise to pursue a relationship with him?
natal chartYour Capricorn ex has Venus in Scorpio conjunct Pluto. (View his noon time chart to the right.) His love planet is in a possessive, jealous sign and is intensified by the planet of power, control and transformation. In other words, your Cap loves intensely and with his whole being. When his heart is broken, his pain can be profound. It is a testament of his love that he was able to forgive you so easily for kissing the Leo. Perhaps his Mars in Sag understood the nature of sexual wandering.

One of the challenges being in relationship with him is that your Uranus is exactly conjunct his Sun. You may be a constant source of disruption and instability for him. Not an easy experience for a Capricorn, but as his Sun is widely conjunct Uranus in his own chart, he is learning how to integrate a spirit of revolution in his self-expression.

The fact that he still wants to be with you -- some Capricorns never come back to their exes -- is good news. But you may just have to be patient. Capricorns take their time, as they are naturally cautious. And from what you've written, I see no reason why I should tell you whether it's wise to be with him. You obviously love him -- you were just caught off-guard by the extravagant courting of a Leo man. Your Capricorn may not be flashy, but he's got substance and will likely be with you for the long haul once he's ready to take you back.

How to Seduce and Get Your Leo Man to Commit

Leo the LionThe following guest post is by Lisa Saliture.

If you really want to seduce and eventually get a Leo man to commit to you, you had better devise a clever game plan, and be ready to play the game like you never played it before!

Of all of the 12 Sun signs, when it comes to attracting a multitude of women, the Leo man is at the top of his game, oozing cockiness, charm, and an almost boyish sexiness that he uses to lure you in. He is fun, loyal, and can be a poet when it comes to seducing you into a frenzy with romantic words.

The Leo man is 100% all about the hunt, the chase, and the conquest. The lion couldn't have been a more fitting icon when describing the astrological traits of the modern day Leo man. Being a single woman, I've had the privilege -- or should I say the experience -- of being part of a Leo man's conquest in the boudoir and in a relationship. While the Leo man is very sexually addictive and alluring, here is a bit of advice on how to tame him without falling prey to his seductions first.

Lion King Traits

A quick breakdown of the Leo man's celestial make-up can help you devise the best game plan for keeping this lion in your jungle, and will have him begging to make you his ruling queen lioness instead of just one of his pride waiting for his call. With the Sun as the ruler of Leo, this man truly exudes power, energy, vitality, and a personality that truly shines. You can easily spot him in any crowd -- even the size of a football stadium -- with his sexy smile. That hypnotizing bad-boy reflection you notice -- the first time you lock eyes -- will definitely have you hooked. The Leo Man is larger than life both in his own mind and those of his followers -- aka buddies -- who just love to spend time with him. You can't miss a Leo man when he is out on the town, or even in the workplace. He is usually the life of the party, and he's Mr. Suave when it comes to attitude -- captivating and drawing both men and women to his magnetic personality. Even though his ego is in need of constant nourishment from all of his fans, underneath this powerful exterior is a sensitive guy, especially when it comes to how his woman feels about him. If you do capture and tame a Leo man, he can be affectionate, warm, and tender, almost purring like a cuddly little kitten insisting on your approval.

The 3 C's of seducing and getting a Leo man to commit

An absolute must for your seduction and commitment game plan is to include the 3 C's to seduce the Leo man and keep him interested in you. The 3 C's -- Challenge, Confidence, and Control -- are your biggest advantage in winning over the Leo man. When seducing a Leo man, always remember the rules of the game: He is the hunter, and you are the coy lioness always keeping him at bay. (Or, for as long as you can muster up enough willpower to keep him from pawing off your panties.) Even if you don't like the idea of playing the role of the hunted prey, you have all the power if you want to both keep this lion in check and keep him sniffing long enough to capture his heart.

Lion

The Challenge

Seduction is Leo's game, and if you fall prey as his victim too soon, you might as well enjoy a couple more good nights of the best sex of your life, and then be prepared to be downgraded to just another female in his pride. A big turn off for the Leo male is a female doormat, one who gives him what he desires whenever he wants. Challenge is the power you create for yourself when playing the role of the hunted prey. The thrill of the hunt -- your power card -- is very appealing to a Leo man. A "hard to get" attitude will definitely catch his attention, and that is exactly where you want him.

Have him learn to be attentive to your needs, by being a little selfish about what you expect in a relationship and challenging his behavior and beliefs about commitment. Making your needs and wants clear -- before you become emotionally involved with a Leo man -- ups his attraction level to you in a big way!

Confidence

The biggest turn-on for even a hardcore player is a woman who is confident in herself. Her attention is the reward for the male who is relentless in his chase to win her love. Mr. Leo will be putty in your hands and will crown you as his lioness queen. Leo men truly respect and respond to a woman who can be aggressive enough to keep him in line, and who can call the shots when it comes to affection early in the dating stage. Confidence also has a big impact if you want to move things forward in a relationship with a Leo man.

Control

A woman who is in control of her own actions and emotions will put a Leo man in a tailspin and spark his interest in a big way. You need to get him on the chase on your terms! The best way to have a Leo man commit for the long haul is to keep him out of your bed for as long as possible, and let his appetite for your affection and attention build until he is starving. This means you will have to use portion control to keep him consistently interested and intrigued with you. At this point, he will do just about anything to keep you interested and happy.

The more time a Leo man spends getting to know you outside of the bedroom, the more he becomes attached to you as a potential partner, and starts to envision you as his queen. Once you tame the Leo man, plan to be spoiled and showered rotten with gifts, affections, and all of his love.

Deep down in the heart of a Leo man is a great guy who hates to be single or alone. Once a Leo meets a woman who challenges him and enforces the 3 C's during the seduction and dating stages, this stubborn cat will be tamed. How do you know when a Leo man is happiest? When he is playing the role of the protector of his family, taking pride in raising his offspring in the blissful kingdom you rule together as a couple.

Why is my Leo man ignoring me?

leoSure, our shining star loves to send warmth and light your way, but when there's a threat to his dignity, he's just focused on himself. Mars could blow up, but he couldn't care less ... except for the fact that he no longer has someone to do his dirty work.

Maybe Leo is ignoring you because you haven't provided him the attention he obviously deserves. Leo has set his sights on finding a new admirer, someone smart enough to appreciate him for who he is, who would never doubt for a second how lucky he or she is to have a man like him.

If you've wounded Leo's pride, he may retreat with his tail between his legs, plotting how he will pounce on you ... when the time is ripe ... and for increased dramatic effect! Don't underestimate how stubborn this fixed sign can be. Just because he's ignoring you does not mean he's not thinking about you ... as his next prey.

Or maybe it has nothing to do with you. Leo may be on a creative streak, working on his play with abandon, or lost in his painting. His is the sign of creativity and self-expression, and all that fire has to be channeled constructively. Better into his art than into endless preening, don't you think?

What attracts a Leo man?

leoThe Sun provides three vital services to ensure our survival on Earth: light, warmth and gravity. Gravity we take for granted, for we are always orbiting around our star, and would only notice the lack of gravity if the Earth flew out of its orbit and collided with another celestial body. We correlate warmth with the presence of the Sun, because the star's absence coincides with a reduction in temperature. Yet, light by far is the most obvious, because there is a bright shining disc in the sky when our surroundings are illuminated (electricity notwithstanding).

You could say the same about Leo, the sign that is ruled by the Sun. There are different degrees to which a Leo man needs to be recognized. (Jara aka Blah Blah wrote a popular post here on the immature Leo man.) The least-developed Leo needs to be recognized, validated, even worshipped like a god. He is like a light bulb that depends on the "juice" of attention. When this energy source is deprived, he gets really bright, and then he blows. The wounded pride, the rageful lion ... you've probably witnessed the narcissistic rage of a Leo who demands to be the star of everyone's show. This variety is attracted to admirers and hangers-on.

The more mature Leo is confident. He does not rely on adoration to feel good about himself. His focus is more on helping other people feel special by being warm and generous of spirit. His dramatic delivery is meant to inspire you to access your creative fire, not to hog the spotlight like the immature Leo. He is playful and spontaneous, hoping to heat up the room to help everyone have a good time. This variety is attracted to people willing to receive and respond to his spirit of giving.

The highest expression of Leo is the most silent. He is the King. He knows that the world revolves around him, and he does not let it go to his head. Rather, he understands it is his divine mission to lead his people. If he does not embody the symbolic power of his role, the people in his kingdom will feel lost and adrift, for we all need to feel there is a benevolent power keeping us on the right track. This rare Leo needs a Queen.

Leo woman with empty Seventh House wonders why she has never been married

Mushie73 (a woman in her early- to mid-thirties) included her birth time (click chart to view) and writes,
I believe I have an empty seventh house, which may explain why I have never been married. I've been told by previous astrologers that I am 'astrologically' attractive to men (venus in Libra, gemini ASC) and I do flirt quite a bit and have many men who seem interested in me, but nothing very serious has ever come out of any relationship I've had. It's like I get attention from men, but nothing overtly serious. I'm one of those women who always get's the comment "I can't believe YOU've never been married? Well...I wish I knew why...am I right to in thinking I don't have any planets in my 7th House? I have a chart of my planets and from looking at it, I don't.
Although you technically do not have any planets in your Seventh House, Neptune -- planet of illusion and fantasy -- sits just two degrees from your Seventh House cusp. Any planet within five degrees of an angle (Ascendant, Descendant, Imum Coeli, Midheaven) is particularly strong in the horoscope, and can be considered part of the next house if it is before the angle. So I would consider your Neptune to be in your Seventh House. (To be precise, it is a bridge between your Sixth and Seventh Houses, and could impact both areas of your chart.)

Neptune on the Seventh House cusp (Descendant) signifies a need to find God in a partner. You have strong ideals both about marriage and a potential husband, and it is near impossible for any mortal to live up to your fantasies.

Neptune is also the planet of sacrifice and dissolution of boundaries -- you have difficulty separating your needs from those of a mate, giving up too much of yourself to make a relationship work. As a Leo, the last role you want to play is that of the martyr!

You may also be attracted to Neptunian types, which are usually those men who are not very good at taking care of mundane matters like paying their rent: musicians, addicts, or just guys with their head so high in the clouds that they can't make ends meet.

This pattern is exacerbated by a square from your Sun to Neptune. You feel special, and you don't want to fall from your throne, yet your attraction to the Neptunian element in relationships threatens to bring you down. The Sun also signifies important men in your life, so a Sun-Neptune aspect also contributes to your attraction to men who need to be taken care of.

In sum, Neptune on the Seventh brings disappointment.

I can see that you want a serious, deep relationship, with Venus -- the love planet -- conjunct intense Pluto and square commitment-craving Saturn. However, feelings that you don't deserve love -- and that true intimacy is delivered in controlled, miniscule drops through an I.V. drip -- may hinder your success in developing a partnership.

However, all this is hiding behind a chatty Gemini Moon and Ascendant and a shiny Leo Sun. Men may come into the relationship expecting one thing and getting quite another, as they confront your idealistic fantasies and contradictory need for fine control over your love life. I recognize that an unmarried woman in her thirties may fear that she will never find the right man. I won't say that the factors delineated above are the reason why you are not married, but it cannot hurt to take an honest look at your complex emotional baggage around love. With greater awareness, you may be able to minimize the negative impact of some of these challenging planetary placements.

Leo man wonders why he's shy with women

L1onHeart provided a birth time (click chart to view) and writes,
Most of people think that Leo is extrovert and very easy to attract people especially women. It seems that i am very different. I am very reserved and shy especially with women and it is not easy for me to approach them. It makes me wonder what sign is more compatible with me? Recently I am attracted to Virgo woman but I have no idea how to approach her? Any advice?
Although you are a Leo, your love planets are in yin (or feminine) signs. By feminine I don't mean relating to women -- rather, that your Venus and Mars are in Water and Earth signs, which have a negative polarity. Air and Fire signs (yang, masculine, positive polarity) are typically extroverted, while Earth and Water signs are introverted.

You have Cancer Rising and Mars in Cancer in your First House, which relates to how you interact with your environment. Cancer is emotionally sensitive and tends to retreat when feeling threatened. (This self-protectiveness can sometimes manifest as defensiveness.) Mars, the action planet, is in its "fall" in Cancer -- it's difficult to be assertive (or aggressive) in a watery sign, no less one that is more into caretaking than meeting one's own selfish desires. In other words, Mars in Cancer can be passive. The Crab moves sideways, and some women like a man who is direct.

It's no surprise that you're attracted to a Virgo woman. Your Venus is in Virgo -- in a man's chart, Venus symbolizes the type of young woman to whom he is attracted. Your seduction planet is in a sign known for self-criticism and modesty. You may be excessively hard on yourself, and you probably don't want to come across as a boar. If you're going to flirt, you want to do it the proper way -- and so much analysis and perfectionism often results in a lack of action.

Probably your greatest asset is your imagination. Your Sun trines Neptune, planet of fantasy and idealism. You have an inspiring, poetic sensibility which surely can draw women's attention, especially expressed through creative and dramatic Leo.

But you want to know how to attract women. Virgo likes to be of service, and Cancer wants to nurture. See if the lady you like needs help in some way, or offer to cook her dinner. Look up "Venus in Virgo" and "Mars in Cancer" in Venus in Love, Mars in Heat for more tips.

Loving an Immature Leo

Jara aka BlahBlah writes for 'Seduction Central' on Saturdays. (Thanks, Jeff!)

Leos can bring endless amounts of fun and romance into a relationship. They can also be passionately generous with their hearts, time, energy and money. But what if your Leo isn't resembling any of this sign's typical positive traits? What if your Leo likes to play mind games, is stingy (or worse, hot and cold) with his or her affections, dishonest or disloyal? If this is the case, then you're in love with an immature Leo.

An immature Leo is one of the hardest signs to deal with in love, because when things are good, they're soooo good that it almost makes it worthwhile to put up with the more difficult aspects of the immature Leo's personality. They are usually very charming, which they can use to persuade you to see the pros of giving them their way all the time. However, this is the exact opposite of what will help them grow up and learn how to consider others in love. Like their astrological representation, the Lion, they believe themselves to be the Kings (or Queens) of the Jungle. When you cater to this belief, the immature Leo will take advantage and get stuck in the "Gimme, 'cause I deserve it" mode. They will take everything you have to offer and still want more. Nothing you do will ever be enough to convince them you are the love of their lives. The more insecure a Leo is, the more arrogant and inconsiderate he or she will act.

Ironically, the only thing this kind of Leo will respect (or respond to) is someone who has the courage to walk away. They may initially view your walking away as a sign that you don't love them enough, but eventually they will come to respect you for not taking anymore of the crap they know they've been dishing out to you. (Because they're very aware of how to leave a good impression, Leos know when they're mistreating someone. Sidenote: RUN, don't walk, if your Leo doesn't care at all that he or she is disappointing you.)

As Leo's partner, you might have come to expect that Leo won't be able to survive without the daily doses of Vitamin A (affection), Vitamin C (compliments), Vitamin D (devotion) and Vitamin E (excitement) they've come to depend on from you. However, even immature Leos are very self-sufficient when left to their own devices. Either they will find someone else who will enable their "me, me, me" attitude or they will learn how to depend on themselves to get what they want. Doing the latter will help them gain the confidence that will bring out the generosity, loyalty, and lovableness that mature Leos already possess. While it will always be important to Leos that others admire them, a sign of Leo's growing maturity is that they can recognize their own sunshine regardless of whether there's a moon (i.e. you) around to provide a reflection.

When you're feeling the urge to shower your immature Leo with more love, just remember that cats always land on their feet. And if they don't, they have 8 more lifetimes to learn how...

What kind of Leo are you? How have you dealt with an immature Leo? Have you seen an immature Leo become mature?

Scorpio man won't date Leo woman, but he's jealous anyway

Marie provided a birth time (click chart to view) and writes,
He's Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Taurus, Asc in Aquarius and Venus in Virgo. So traditionally it's promised that we'll have more tension than harmony. He was the one who pursued me, probing into me with his curious questions, which partly helped me to know myself better. It took a lot out of me to admit that i am in love with him, in which he thought deeply and said "There is no chance between us". Despite that, i am not allowed to hang out with his best friend (let alone other guys), and we constantly have arguments which often ends with me saying "I don't see why we're arguing about this, we're not even a couple" and he'll withdraw away into his secret place.

I get confused with his actions, the constant hot and cold, and the uncertainty of it all, i tell myself to move on and forget about him but even that seems like a mistake.

What should i do?
Your not-boyfriend's Sun and Moon are in possessive, controlling signs. Taurus likes to own things -- a valued person is equivalent to an object that he doesn't want to part with. And Scorpio, as you know, can get rather jealous. His behavior isn't rational -- you're not even a couple -- yet since when was there logic to love? He obviously has feelings towards you, he just -- for whatever reason -- doesn't want to legitimize them. So he has no "right" to keep you from talking to other men (not that a real boyfriend has the right, either).

You have a Pluto-Venus-Moon T-square, which means that your Venus and Moon oppose each other along the Leo-Aquarius axis, with Pluto in Scorpio making a 90-degree square to both of them. (Read my post on the Moon-Venus conflict.) Pluto contributes to these emotional, relational planets a big dose of control, manipulation, intensity and probing. Power and love go hand-in-hand for you -- your Scorpio not-boyfriend is simply the paper clip drawn to your magnet. (That is, you attracted him to work out your stuff.)

Your independent Aquarius Moon is in your 5th House of Romance, yet your vibrant Venus in Leo is in your 11th House of Friendships. The 5th is naturally associated with Leo, and the 11th with Aquarius. Could it be that you have difficulty with the friends and lovers dichotomy? (Or is there even one?) You're emotionally detached in dating, yet flirtatious in groups. This not-relationship may perfectly meet your needs!

How to attract a man with Venus in Cancer

In a man's chart, Venus represents the type of (young) woman to whom he is attracted. The mythological Venus is Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. The planetary Venus does not travel beyond two zodiac signs from one's Sun, meaning that a man with Venus in Cancer can only be a Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo or Virgo.

In general, this man will be drawn to a maternal type, a woman who will nurture him with her cooking or with her sensitive attendance to his emotional needs. The Cancer figure tends to be on the shapely side -- think of the stereotypical mother's warm bosom.

A Cancer man will obviously be the most straightforward to please in this manner, as his Venus seeks similar expression to his Sun. However, when a man's Sun sign is different than his Venus sign, attraction gets more complicated.

A Leo man likes glitz and glamour, and his attraction to a shy, empathic cuddle bunny may be at odds with his desire to be seen in public with a trophy wife who serves as an accessory to boost his image. To attract this type of man, one would need to encase the caretaker in a slinky dress -- to be the wild Moon to his Sun.

A Virgo man may be more comfortable with his Venus in Cancer, as both signs are on the introverted side. However, his critical tendencies and analytical mindframe are not at home in the world of emotions. He may project his Venus onto a woman (meaning that he disowns his Venus and makes a woman "take the Cancer on" for him) and then end up hurting her feelings by picking her apart. To attract this type of man, one would need to have enough self-confidence to not take his feedback personally, yet be receptive to his home cooking reviews ... if they have any merit.

A Gemini man may have a hard time incorporating his Venus in Cancer because his propensity towards variety and exploration threatens the part of him that craves emotional security. He consciously wants to play the field, yet he's drawn to a woman who wants him to stay at home with her to watch the Lifetime channel. To attract this type of man, one needs to be able to be caring without being smothering, and to provide a home base without insisting that he's home all the time.

A Taurus man may have the easiest time with his Venus in Cancer (other than the Cancer man). Both Taurus and Cancer crave security and safety. Taurus grooves on being fed and nurtured. He may not be as emotional as the woman to whom he is attracted, but if she can translate her love into sensual acts and the creation of home-made knick knacks, she's sure to have his heart.

How To Break Up With A Fire Sign (Part 1 of the Breaking Up Series)

Jara aka BlahBlah writes for 'Seduction Central' on Saturdays. (Thanks, Jeff!)

Disclaimer: This blog entry is for humorous and educational purposes only. Adhere to the following advice at your own risk.

Yes, breaking up is hard to do. And it's so much harder when your soon-to-be-ex is an amusing Aries, a lovely Leo, or a smart Sagittarius. If you've ever dated fire signs, then you know that breaking up with them is nearly impossible, especially if they don't want to break up with you. In that case, they'll pull out all the stops to win you back, which can be a very tempting proposition for you. Assuming you're truly ready to move on from your Aries, Leo or Sagittarius, you'll need all the help you can get to make the breakup stick. Here's a guide to initiating (and surviving) a breakup with a fire sign.

The Break-Up Strategy

Breaking up with an Aries requires some foresight (not a trait that Aries is known for having, by the way). Without a plan of action, the probability of getting pulled into a knock-down, drag-out fight is very high if Aries even suspects for one second that you're voluntarily walking away from the relationship first (keyword with Aries). The least painful tactic (for you) is to convince Aries that it's his or her idea to break up with you. Become the antithesis of what Aries respects: a lazy, unfocused and indecisive coward. To make sure the breakup sticks, adopt a new pessimistic outlook on life. Whenever Aries comes to you excited about a brand new venture, point out all the reasons why the venture is the worst idea in the history of ideas. Make sure to point out flaws in Aries' plan only ONCE, though, because repeating yourself will signal to Aries that an argument is on the horizon. Naturally, an argument may turn Aries on and lead to some break-up-to-make-up sex. If that happens, you'll have to start all over from scratch, except now Aries thinks you're playing the "Breakup Game" as foreplay for another enthusiastic sex session.

Leo is a very loyal sign, so breaking up can be extra tricky. In order to escape from Leo unscathed, you must commit to putting aside your ego for the greater good of the breakup. As with Aries, the goal here is to get Leo to break up with you. There are two surefire ways to having a relatively stress-free parting with a Leo:

1.) Go light on the praise and remove the words "thank you" from your vocabulary, but lay the criticism on heavy (especially in front of someone Leo admires)

AND/OR

2.) Convince Leo you're not worthy of being in the relationship.

Examples of tactic #2 include getting demoted (or better yet, fired) for doing something Leo can't put a positive spin on or being seen in public looking significantly less groomed than normal (or as Leo expects). The beauty of convincing Leo you're unworthy is that you'll just be confirming what Leo already thinks, so this will be very easy. The exception is if you're a super, duper great catch (to Leo). In that case, don't bother with #2 because Leo will just hang onto the relationship even tighter. The worst thing you can do at this point is raise Leo's suspicions that a dumping is around the corner or those paws will dig in and the Lion or Lioness will refuse to be "convinced" that breaking up is for the best. When all else fails, cease all forms of physical affection and that will have the Leo sealing the breakup deal faster than you can spell G-E-T L-O-S-T.

Since Sagittarius appreciates and respects honesty, you can breakup with Sagittarius using a straightforward approach. Luckily, the famous Sagittarius sense of humor will go a long way in helping a breakup remain amicable. Sagittarius may have even been contemplating whether he or she really likes being in the relationship in the first place. This, of course, makes your job a lot easier. Sag may try to find out the reason behind your decision if the relationship is a good one to him or her. He or she will most likely play things cool by cracking some jokes about how they'll catch you in the next lifetime. To a Sag's way of thinking, the breakup provided food for thought, another life lesson learned, and yet another friend to add to his or her ever-expanding collection of buddies.

The Ex-Files

Unless you have extremely compatible personalities, don't expect to be friends with Aries after the relationship ends. As a matter of fact, don't be surprised if Aries deals with the breakup by auditioning new admirers as your replacement immediately after your breakup.

Leo makes a wonderful ex if allowed to save face during the breakup. The benefits of Leo as an ex is that his or her benevolent nature almost guarantees that you will receive help in your times of need (especially if you two share any children).

Sagittarius rarely dwells on the past, so there is great potential for you and your Sagittarius ex to be best friends even after the breakup (but only if you dealt with the situation honestly).

How has your relationship with an Aries, a Leo or a Sagittarius ended? Did the end of your relationship with a fire sign leave you feeling extinguished or ablaze?

How does the Leo girl win the heart of a Cancer?

cancerleoLet's move past the fact that these two signs are traditionally incompatible. An outgoing Leo may very well be attracted to a sensitive Cancer, especially if she has Venus in the water sign that precedes her Sun sign. (Venus doesn't travel very far from the Sun, and Leo follows Cancer on the zodiac wheel.)

Leo is not going to win Cancer's affection by being the life of the party and demanding all his attention. Nor will her excessive pride endear him. In short, she has to turn down the heat.

Fire and Water

Leo is fire, Cancer is water. Leo doesn't want to put on such a high flame that Cancer dries up his emotional reserves. Rather, bringing him to a low boil is the ideal effect towards which she should aim.

Fortunately, Leos give as well as they receive, and if the lioness can provide warmth to Cancer's hearth, she will drive some of the mustiness out of his home. Modulation of the thermostat is key, for a Leo set to "11" will drive the crab into his shell. Leo may have boundless energy, but Cancer needs to conserve.

Sun and Moon

Leo is ruled by the Sun, Cancer by the Moon. The Sun is an everpresent globe, always available to provide heat. The Moon fluctuates, appearing different every night. Part of him thrives on the light of the Sun, yet he needs that bit of darkness to collect moisture and delve into his own mysteries.

A Leo girl will win his heart if she can accept the inconsistency of his moods, and not demand that he reflect her light back to her if he's in a new moon phase.

Leo woman wants to know if Sagittarius man is losing interest

Golden1 provided a birth time (click chart to view) and writes,
I've been with my boyfriend for a little over a year and things aren't as hot and heavy or passionate as they used to be. I think he's losing interest. He sometimes tells me things that hurt and I know that Sagittarius' have diarrhea of the mouth, unintentionally hurting delicate feelings but I wanna know if this is one sign that he's losing interest. I'm in love with him and I want him to be a part of my future. Please help me to figure out my suspicions. His Venus is in Scorpio and his Mars is in Pisces. Thank You.
Transiting Saturn -- planet of harship and woe -- has been conjunct your Leo Sun all year. You're feeling pretty down, I imagine, as this planet squashes your vitality and wounds your pride. You want to shine and be seen as special, yet the spotlight has been unplugged.

It's hard to feel loved during a Saturn transit to your Sun. Self-esteem can plummet. To boot, transiting Saturn will come up on a square to your natal Mars, ruler of your Seventh House of Partnership, in August. Tension and repressed desire are likely outcomes. However, Saturn is the planet of tests. You can use this summer to assess how you express your purpose and initiative, and you can take an inventory of your relationship. Your Mars sits in your Second House of Self-Worth, so looking at how your Sagittarius boyfriend makes you (or doesn't make you) feel valued would be a good use of your energies. (And don't forget to value yourself, regardless!)

Sometimes people say hurtful things to push others away. Other times, they just lack tact. With Mars in Pisces, your boyfriend wouldn't necessarily be direct with his expression of anger. You may want to just sit down with him and ask if he's been holding anything back (Venus in Scorpio). Perhaps he's just scared of taking the next step, and has been unleashing barbs to see if you'll still stick around.

You have good compatibility given the limited info you've provided: two fiery Suns, plus two Venus-Mars interaspects (conjunction in Scorpio, opposition along Pisces-Virgo axis). Around September 2008, transiting Saturn will be conjoining your Venus, planet of love, in self-critical Virgo -- another round of tests concerning how loved and valued (Venus) you feel. If your relationship survives this transit, it will probably last.

Provide feedback to Golden1 in the comments section.

Are Leo and Aquarius compatible?

rcenigma provided a birth time (click chart to view) and writes,
I am a Leo and I am attracted to an Aquarius. I want to know if we are compatible.
Signs that are opposite in the zodiac are naturally attracted to each other, because they balance each other out. The attention-seeking, generous and warm Leo is kept in check by Aquarius, the detached observer who offers his or her critique of Leo's performance with little regard for the lion's pride. Friendly but cool Aquarius is drawn to the fire and splendor of the king or queen of the zodiac. However, oppositions also imply friction. Leo's over-the-top displays of affection can be a wee too much for the water bearer, while the Aquarian's intellectual immersion in the sciences boggles the lion, who just wants to go out and play.

You were born during a Full Moon with your Moon in Aquarius, so this conflict between Leo and Aquarius should be familiar to you. Your own emotional detachment contradicts your solar magnificence. However, in synastry -- or chart comparison -- your Moon in the same sign as your Aquarian love interest's Sun bodes well for compatibility. In addition, your Sun is in the Eleventh House of Friends, Groups and Humanitarian Causes, which is naturally associated with Aquarius. Although you will always feel the tension between these signs in your own life, an Aquarian would suit you well.

Leo woman broke off engagement with Cancer man

Greg provided his birth time (click chart to view) and writes,
My fiance recently broke up with me. Will we get back together? She is a Leo.
Your natal Venus -- which signifies relationships -- is being squared (90 degree angle) by transiting Uranus, the planet that yearns for freedom and independence. The tension of the square aspect, along with the "sudden break" energy of Uranus, corresponds with the end of your engagement. Additionally, your progressed Moon -- one way to time events -- is currently square your natal Venus and opposite transiting Uranus.

Another more subtle indication that you are undergoing struggle: Transiting Saturn -- planet of delay and hardship -- is conjunct your progressed Sun in Leo. (This goes exact on June 14.)

Transiting Uranus has only passed over, or "hit," your natal Venus for the first of three times. Its first hit was in mid-May; it retrogrades over this point in early August, and then finally passes over Venus the last time in late February of next year. This means that the instability and need for change in your love life will not end until Spring.

Will you get back together? I don't know. However, you can use this time to make the following inquiry: What can you change in your relationship patterns? What rigidity needs to be shaken up?

Your Venus in Gemini wants variety and stimulation, yet it is squared by Saturn in Virgo, adding a need for stability and commitment. This complex is being challenged by transiting Uranus, and you have the opportunity to re-organize your values during this transit.

Uranus opposes your natal Saturn -- which rules your relationship, as Capricorn is on your Descendant -- in March 2009. Essentially, your difficulty expressing love, your fear of affection as symbolized by your Venus-Saturn contact, is being awakened over the next few years. Perhaps, with consciousness, you can loosen your defenses ... and you will be more attractive to women (or your Leo ex, in particular) as a prospect for marriage.

Chart Analysis: How does a Leo gal keep an Aries man interested?

Dixie Gal provide a birth time (click chart to view) and writes,
Hi.. I have been seeing a wonderful Aries man for a little over a month. What is the best way to keep him interested. In one sense he is shy, but in others he is wide open. I am too old for games and wish not to become just another memory... I love life but have lost some of my sensual side and desire to rekindle that fiery side of oneself.
The traditional ruler of your Aquarius Descendant (or Seventh House cusp) is Saturn in Aries in the Ninth House. This section of your chart concerns international travel, religion, philosophy, issues of meaning and faith, academic pursuits ... in general, your desire to expand your horizons and experience adventure both mentally and physically. Since the planet signifying "the other" is in your Ninth House, you could try to keep him interested by asking him to join you in a pursuit related to this house. Go to free lectures at the university, or church events. Propose a trip somewhere exotic.

This area of life has always been a struggle for you, as Saturn brings a feeling of inferiority or deficit to whatever house he tenants. As a result, you have been seriously exploring what Ninth House concerns mean for you, in order to overcome your fear of not feeling fulfilled or successful in matters of faith and "big picture" themes. The Ninth relates to your Seventh House of partnership, so anyone with whom you are seriously involved can assist you in this growth opportunity.

You desire to rekindle the fiery side of yourself. Saturn has been transiting through Leo, passing over your Sun, Jupiter and Ascendant. This transit has brought a feeling of restriction, a dampening of your vital energies. Your Leonine fire will come back when Saturn moves into Virgo this fall.

How to get your Leo man to propose

leoLeos love being engaged: the glitzy rock; the bachelor(ette) parties; setting up the registry at Williams-Sonoma.

Granted, a Leo guy won't be the one with the big conflict-free diamond on his finger, but he'll be just as happy to be the one buying it. What Leo doesn't like to give generously?

But he hasn't made the jump, and you want to get him down on one knee to present you with a small velvet box. How to?

I'd normally suggest you reverse gender roles and propose to him, but your assertiveness in this matter may wound Leo's pride. Dethroning the king will work against you. Instead, you must inspire him to express his whole-hearted devotion to you.

Fortunately for you, Leo has a big heart, and thrives on displays of affection. However, this extravagant sign does not pick up subtle clues well, so don't waste your precious time being oblique. Rather, incessantly talk about your friends who are getting married; mention how nice a honeymoon in Greece would be; drag him to Tiffany's and swoon over the pretty jewels. He'll want to make you happy, if you don't drive him crazy first.

If that doesn't work, get pregnant. Leos love kids.

Why is Leo attracted to Aquarius?

aquariusleoA Leo woman asks:
Is it possible to have a relationship with someone with a heavy Aquarian emphasis in his chart or is it a lost cause? I have no planets in Aquarius at all but I seem to be attracted to them for reasons that I can't fathom. Maybe it's that Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Libra? I don't know. Is it bc I'm a Leo Sun? I don't know but either way, that's my question.
Zodiac opposites attract for a good reason. Each axis contains two complementary signs that really can't function without the other.

Aries - Libra Me - You
Taurus - Scorpio My Money - Our Money
Gemini - Sagittarius Facts - Theories
Cancer - Capricorn Home - Work
Leo - Aquarius Performer - Audience (or Individual - Group)
Virgo - Pisces Organized Ritual - Mystical Letting Go

Leo needs a detached viewer to objectively critique her performance. Who else but Aquarius can do that? (I said critique, not criticize, Virgo!)

Your attraction is due to your Leo Sun, not your Uranus-Jupiter conjunction in Libra. This conjunction can last nearly a year -- it's not specific to Leos -- and concerns your need to experience expansion, meaning, revolution and independence in relationships.

In your chart, Saturn -- the ruler of your 7th House of Partnership (with Capricorn on the cusp) -- is in your 11th House of Friends and Groups. The 11th House has a natural affinity with Aquarius. This area of your life is bound with your partnership needs; for example, you might find a future husband in a humanitarian group with which you are involved. And who is more likely to spend time in these endeavors than Aquarians? Hence, this is another factor in your chart that may explain your attraction to the sign of the Water Bearer.

Is someone with a heavy Aquarian emphasis a lost cause? Not necessarily -- you just need to give him lots of independence and not expect much in the way of emotional availability.

Why a Leo woman cannot win over a Scorpio man

leoscorpioWhen a Leo woman casts her eyes upon a man, the brilliance of sunlight follows. Unfortunately, the Scorpio man does not want his secrets illuminated. Sensing that a woman is trying to get underneath his skin, Scorpio pushes back. If he is going to reveal himself, it will be at his pace.

The Scorpio man may even feel suspicious being the recipient of Leo's warmth and generosity. What is she trying to get from him? What is her ulterior motive? Of course, the Leo woman has no hidden agendas -- but she'll have difficulty convincing him of that.

Pluto is also turned off by Leo's displays on the red carpet. He is behind the scenes, more interested in the machinations of the film industry, not the glitzy surface of its starlets.

How does a Leo girl win over a Capricorn man?

leocapricornA reader asks:
how does a leo girl win over (or win-back) a capricorn man. i am in love with him but he made many mistakes and i overreacted because im a leo and now i fear his opinion of me is forever damaged. how can i burrow into his heart like he did mine or more importantly, why am i so drawn to such a cold person?
Your Capricorn burrowed into your heart because he's a patient digger. He'll work tirelessly to get what he wants. I'm sure once he got into your heart, he soaked in the heat for which his cold bones yearned. Yet what are you willing to do to reach his heart? If Cap had to burrow to reach a Leo's heart, you'll probably need an hydraulic hammer to break through the rock that covers his.

I have a feeling that Cap felt your overreaction was improper, or immature, and that he wishes you'd respond like a grown-up. "Working" your smile may not be enough. Capricorn will respect you when you act like dignified royalty instead of a petulant child -- both are equal expressions of the Leo archetype, but carrying yourself like a Queen will more likely gain his respect.
Addendum

Why are you drawn to such a cold person? There is no hot without cold. If you are the Sun, radiating warmth to the solar system, then Capricorn is Saturn, cold and defensive, shielding himself from galactic visitors with his protective rings.

How to keep the interest of a Leo man

leoIf you keep paying attention to your Leo man, he ought to stay interested. He just wants an adoring audience. His ruling planet is the Sun, and imagine how our star would feel if no planets revolved around it? What's the point of all that gravitational pull if you can't draw anything into your field? Why emit all that warmth if there are no bodies to benefit from its fire?

You see, the Sun wants to shine its light upon you, but only if you promise to keep orbiting. You should have enough momentum to not get sucked into its flames and burned alive, but not be so big and powerful that you're a competing star.

If you can master that, he'll love you even if you're demoted.

Who does Pisces love more: Gemini or Leo?

piscesleoPisces would rather spend time with his home entertainment system than choose a Gemini or Leo. The sign of retreat and seclusion is ruled by Neptune, planet of transcendence, and wants nothing more than to dissolve his ego boundaries and merge with divine consciousness. Or maybe he just wants to get high watching David Lynch movies.

Pisces loves film and photography, and has an appreciation for fashion. Who but Leo craves the attention of the camera, the allure of carrying the perfect handbag?

But unlike Pisces, Leo is all about ego. Ruled by the Sun, the center of the solar system, Leo wants to be adored and worshipped. She does not want to be behind the scenes -- she wants to be the scene. All the fire of Leo, as well as her stubborn insistence on getting noticed, can be a drain on Pisces' sensitive nature.

piscesgeminiBut is Gemini much better? Words, words, words ... they just don't do justice to the ineffable mysteries of super-consciousness -- or a good bong hit. Pisces yearns to see beyond the superficialities of Gemini's domain. Gemini has the advantage of being more flexible than Leo, able to drop a topic quickly and move on to the next. However, the airy quality of Gemini, the chattering headspace -- once again, Pisces is so emotional and reclusive that Gemini's mental meanderings can wear him out.

There's no real winner here ... assigning points, I'd put Gemini in the lead because at least Gemini and Pisces are both mutable signs. However, the angles Pisces makes to these signs -- a square to Gemini and a quincunx to Leo -- suggest inevitable conflict either way. Can't you just find him a nice Water or Earth sign to love?

Comment below: Is it pointless trying to interest a Pisces man in Fire or Air signs?

How to get a Leo man

leoEvery man wants to be listened to. Granted, it can be easy to tune out an Aquarian talking about SQL Server or a Sagittarian discussing foreign relations, but a Leo man is likely to at least keep you engaged. The consummate performer, Leo's warm and outgoing style puts you at ease, so all you have to do is dilate your pupils, slightly drop your lower lip, and gaze admiringly at him while he does his schtick.

The Leo man will get along with any woman who's fiery, enthusiastic, sociable and chatty. However, what he wants most is an audience. Throw in a little Aquarian detachment while you observe him, and he'll be like a circus lion standing on his hind legs to get a rise out of you.
