Seduction Central's Birth Chart

I wrote my first blog post on November 6, 2006. Here's the chart (using Whole Sign houses starting at 0 Aries because I don't remember the exact time I posted the entry -- so ignore the houses.)

As you can see, this blog is a Scorpio. In fact, its Sun is exactly trine my Pisces Sun, so we're compatible.

The Moon moved from Taurus to Gemini shortly before noon. I'd wager that this blog has a Gemini Moon because the comments section is so chatty.

It is no surprise that this blog is called Seduction Central, with Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio. A Venus-Mars conjunction is especially appropriate!

Jeff you make me LOL

(abbreviated for laugh out loud)

Well, I know the ascendant has to be something airy because everything's kind of scattered and all over the place (well at least visually). Though it's a scorpio blog, it seems LIGHT. So, a libra ascendant could be it. I'd say it's a gemini, but libra can fit, too.

and scattered visually as in, theres about 10 different types of fonts on this page. You're bombarded by advertisements, contents, and mini contents, then you have the web rings, and the oh... previous posts and the ning thing, and the...

that's a lot of information, right? So my best bet is that it's a gemini.

Don't change a thing, this blog is inspired just the way it is. Look at that beautiful stellium in the 8th house! You can't tell me that's a coincidence those babies are not only in Scorpio but in the 8th like that, bam bam bam bam bam!

The Gemini Moon (yakkity yak yak) and North Node hidden in the 12th yet just above the Ascendant on the public horizon is no coincidence either.

And I have to love that Uranus. Its house placement is exactly conjunct my personal Moon's.

Moon conjunct Uranus, don't get me going on that one ;) Yes this blog has got me stir crazy and mixed up my nights and days on an erratic schedule.

And Aries is the universal natural cusp of the 1st house anyway, the "default" setting if you are casting a mundane chart and don't have a specific coming-forth-from-the-bloody-womb moment.

Don't change a damn thing, it's PERFECT.

Hmmm . . . maybe move it forward a tenth of a degree. Just so it's off zero and actually into Aries. Why?

Look at that Midheaven (MC). Right at 29'50" and another smidgeon of a degree makes it perfect at the exact cusp of Aquarius, the 11th house of friends. The public Midheaven in the house of friends, in Aquarius the sign of the study of astrology as a metaphysical science.

PERFECT.

@Victoria, I wrote in the first paragraph that you shouldn't look at the houses b/c I don't remember what time of day I posted my first entry. I just set it at O Aries by default.

@May ... and I thought I simplified the blog!

Ahah...suddenly things are getting so clear it's creepy.

This place IS a Scorpio with Venus in Scorpio too? Oh my Gosh. Thank goodness it isn't a person, cause that person sounds, um, like too much.

And Jeffrey, you only started in 2006?!?!? Holy SHIT!!! I should start a blog....about....well....I guess I need to think of something I could talk about all day.

LOL I think, it's a Pisces ascendant like it's Dad's Sun.
;-)
(really)

Agree with the Gemini moon though.

Yes, especially if you look at the anniversary Birthday Blog.

November 6, 2007

If Scorpio is so heavy here and Mars/Pluto are the rulers of Scorpio, representing aggression and upheaval and regeneration . . .
the chain of events occurring on the anniversary of the blog would coincide perfectly as well.

On another note it's nice that Jeffrey's blog is compatible with his core motivation. Otherwise he'd be arguing with himself all the time. It's difficult enough being a Pisces torn in diverse directions . . .

I never do rectifications; it's too easy to 'fine-tune' a chart to one's own prejudices and claim one has hit the mark. Most charts are close enough that the house shifts are not quite so importants, and I'd rather work with clean data than invent it.

My point from the other post was simply that if SC had been created on December 8th, 2007, there would've been a five-car pileup in Sag, with Saturn and Uranus squaring, and the blog would be obsessed with Sags, and would tend towards repeated remarks about the evil Sag men who run away, cheat, won't commit, etc. etc.

Every sign has good and bad manifestations and the SC chart tends to focus on the Scorpio ones.

I just noticed Saturn is conjunct the South Node.

This would suggest difficulty, discipline and delays if trying to stay with the good ol' days and comfortable ways . . .

Saturn is the policeman of the Zodiac.

@Victoria, the S. Node is in Virgo, not Leo.

Hmmm... well then what's it doing conjunct Saturn in your chart?

I noticed you used the equal house system. This makes it so that you can't assume the S. Node is automatically opposite the N. Node visually.

See that little green thingamajiggy at 17 degrees Leo?

Aha... I'm used to the Astrodienst charts (easier to read, too) I recognize now that little green thingamajiggy is just another Leo glyph (looks like a S. Node glyph upside-down or something)

So, South Node in Virgo, not conjunct Saturn. Good. That means you can stick with your old ways all you please and Saturn won't interfere.

S. Node in Virgo / N. Node in Pisces suggests suggests an innate practicality and sense of order, but also a sense of panic and anxiety when things do not go as planned.

Therefore, you may burden yourself and others with rigid expectations of proper behavior or "perfect" situations.

The North Node in Pisces represents this lifetime’s mission: let go of worry and work on developing a sense of the connectedness of everyone and everything.

Your longing for order and perfection is satisfied only through the realization that everything is in divine order, even if our limited human minds perceive only chaos.

I must admit I like this interpretation much better also ;)
