Why is my Leo man ignoring me?

leoSure, our shining star loves to send warmth and light your way, but when there's a threat to his dignity, he's just focused on himself. Mars could blow up, but he couldn't care less ... except for the fact that he no longer has someone to do his dirty work.

Maybe Leo is ignoring you because you haven't provided him the attention he obviously deserves. Leo has set his sights on finding a new admirer, someone smart enough to appreciate him for who he is, who would never doubt for a second how lucky he or she is to have a man like him.

If you've wounded Leo's pride, he may retreat with his tail between his legs, plotting how he will pounce on you ... when the time is ripe ... and for increased dramatic effect! Don't underestimate how stubborn this fixed sign can be. Just because he's ignoring you does not mean he's not thinking about you ... as his next prey.

Or maybe it has nothing to do with you. Leo may be on a creative streak, working on his play with abandon, or lost in his painting. His is the sign of creativity and self-expression, and all that fire has to be channeled constructively. Better into his art than into endless preening, don't you think?

Because I told him off. When I called a few days later to apologize, he was at the Piano House, putting the finishing touches on his Sonata in F# minor.

Afterwards he drove by for sex more passionate than usual, after which I threw him out at 4 am, exhausted already as he wouldn't let me sleep (Eveready battery)

After which he promptly ignored me for the next three months. We were both busy elsewhere, I suppose.

The cat came back, though. This has been going on since the summer of '04.

As a Leo (a woman though) I would ignore you if you had thrown me out at 4 am, or at any other hour, but in the middle of the night it's even worse. A sense of abandonment, rejection and disrespect. Though I understand the situation and you being exhausted, but the insult might be too big to be easy to forgive or be overlooked and would have cast serious doubts in me about the compatibility with my lover had he done that.

What does it mean you "told him off"? My English isn't good enough to understand what exactly does this expression "told him off" mean. Anyway, you told him off, called after a few days and then when he came back all passionate you threw him out? To be thrown out of my lover's house at 4 AM during make-up sex after a previous fight? - that's critical! I'd most probably leave him thinking he's just not the man for me and it could never work out because he doesn't love me enough, isn't sensitive enough, doesn't value my affection and is too cold-hearted and not romantic enough for me. Not to mention the wound to my pride. You don't throw the queen out in the middle of the night just for loving you too much :-). This goes against Leo's every fiber.

I never got involved with any Leo men to speak of.
Leo women I have found get their feelings hurt, and don't call or write if they're not admired and treated a certain way.
Or, if someone else is admiring them more.

Could this also apply to a person with his Venus in Leo? I'm not really being ignored, but there's some kinda voodoo in the air....

Hey Madusa,

I think that is exactly how he felt. The last time the cat came back (last Monday at 1:30 am) I didn't open the door. Spared us both the drama ;)

His sun is square mine, that's all, setting off sparks, and Fire + Water makes for great steam.

Like you said, I put his fire out (telling him off = dumping a potful of boiling water on his head).

He started it. His fire had blow-dried my water sensitivity up long before that with his insatiable over-the-top come-ons (give me a break, this dude is on the roof 7 am serenading Don Giovanni style with his head in my bedroom window, flaunting muscles and flashing teeth)

Did have a nice mane, though, for running my fingers through

anonymous Scorpio,

LOL. For some reason I see a lot of attraction between Leos and Scorpios. Don't ask me why.

My on and off Leo left the area for better opportunities...but this bull was unwilling and also unable to pack and go too when he suggested for me to come. Our last encounter was friendly and lusty, but I know that I will not hear from him unless he is visiting the area and is in heat....already knew it would have never last anyway.

Victoria,

Yes, the square is very dynamic. Yet, - and it can definitely be due to my limited experience, - I don't come across Leo-Taurus or Scorpio-Aquarius attractions as frequently as Leo-Scorpio. I think it's also because out of these 3 Sun-square-Sun combinations Leo and Scorpio are the more fiery, intense, emotional and passionate (about everything, don't mean just sex). Scorpio is a water sign, but is still ruled also by Mars which is more fiery, so maybe there's also a bit of similarity to the Leo-Aries factor in the mix as well. Lots of sparks and flames, that's for sure :-D
