Pisces man winning over a Libra woman

Joke of the DayCan Pisces win over a Libra? Other than scales, what else do they have in common? Venus -- the planet of love, art and relationships -- is dignified in Libra and exalted in Pisces. The goddess is happy in both signs.
What do Pisces and Libra have in common?
Scales!
The Libra Woman
A woman with her Sun in Libra is -- more than any other sign -- attracted to partnership. Not being in one may make her unhappy, because she shines brightest when she is relating to another person. She's willing to make all sorts of compromises to please her partner, and may even lapse into codependent behavior, putting his needs above her own. Many of her decisions are based on how their outcome will impact others, as she wants to maintain harmony with her loved ones. And, sometimes she goes to great lengths to avoid being seen as the "bad guy."The Pisces Man
Sacrifice, of course, is familiar to the Pisces man. The last sign of the zodiac is ruled by Neptune, the planet that dissolves boundaries in the quest for enlightenment -- or at least a good buzz. Pisces is the sign of the monk and the alcoholic -- those lost (or developed) souls who choose retreat, or who withdraw into fantasy because they can't tolerate reality well enough to function. The Pisces man's romantic quest is to transcend separation and to love All That Is. He can reach this state through the help of meditation, drugs ... or even a good old-fashioned relationship. But for him, a loving connection is a means to an End, a way to move from self to Self.Unfortunately, all this spiritual talk is whimsy. More often than not, the Pisces man is more martyr than mystic, a spineless schlump who suffers on the cross of victimhood, hoping to evoke guilt and pity in others for his inability to do anything more useful than dream.
Put 'Em Together
So, can these two get it on? Although they both worship at the altar of Love, they go about relating in different ways. Libra is more sociable than easily overstimulated Pisces, who prefers take-out sushi over frequent dinner parties. And Pisces may feel disappointed that Libra is more interested in putting on a Good Face than doing Good Works. However, they do have a meeting ground. The Pisces man can win over Libra with Art. Although not mystically-inclined, she does have an eye for beauty, and can appreciate a well-designed table or a graceful ballad. One of Pisces' greatest talents is his ability to draw on his Muse to create inspired songs, poems or paintings. His compositions express what cannot be articulated by words alone, and although they draw on emotions that are not her natural language, the Libra woman will get weak at the knees knowing that his song is about her.

I've had a crush on a Pisces celebrity for the longest time (for 12 years! before he was actually "famous" even) and he is now married to his ex co-star, a Libra woman. :( The first time I saw a love scene between them, my dreams of becoming Mrs. Pisces Guy came crashing down. She was married to someone else when they first started working together on one of my favorite TV shows. Now they have two children and seem very happy together. I'm really torn between being happy for them (it's nice to see an in-love couple) and being disappointed that I can no longer dream and hope that one day...So bittersweet for me. He seems to be such a nice guy and a great daddy (just like I always imagined). *sniffle* I'm going to be indulging myself in a woulda shoulda coulda session when I see him perform in a play in two weeks, though. :)
If a Pisces man is not making a move, does it make sense to ask him out? Or will he get scared?
Make the move, as a Pisces man I've always liked when women handle the initial stage of the relationship mostly because when I do intend to ask a woman out it is preceeded by weeks of daydreams that take the whole relationship (if there is one) to such a peak of expectations it's almost difficult to make a move at all, and I've got Aries and Scorpio prominent in my chart. Many pisceans I know don't make moves, period. They just get to know the person they like, have conversations and flirt and then either A: have a moment and make the move (alcohol, tends to be involved here-- a pisces friend of mine refered to it as "confidence juice") or B: lose interest and drift away. Pisces are mutable they don't initiate as much as react-- that and even if he doesn't see you that way, he will afterwards and like most pisces he'll probably agree out of curiosity and unwillingness to say "no"
I've read a few of these articles and so far they have been completely off the mark. (I am a Libra woman starting a family with a Pisces man. At the risk of being the 'flame' commenter, I have to say you have only a partial grasp on the zodiac signs and what someone born under each one 'acts like'. I suggest a deeper research session.
Your comment arrives on the day of Mars and Saturn's exact conjunction in critical Virgo, which happens to be conjoining my Ascendant, my public face. So I should not be surprised to hear your feedback at this time.
Either I have an only partial grasp of the zodiac signs (and who, by the way, has a complete understanding of an archetype? How presumptuous!) and my repeat visitors are deluded, or you are failing to understand that a description of Sun signs can only touch upon an aspect of your Libra-Pisces relationship. (There may be other alternatives that I am failing to generate.)
Why don't you report back with a description of your relationship and links to your respective natal charts. I will be the first to admit that any Sun sign article is going to be inaccurate when you apply it to a real couple, because each individual has several natal planets that interact with the other partner's chart. And I understand that when I write Sun sign astrology for a general audience, I take the risk of receiving comments such as yours.
Yet I take offense at your suggestion that I undertake a "deeper research session." If you believe my interpretations are completely off the mark, go somewhere else.
Only someone with a base knowledge of astrology would suggest "deeper research" on sun astrology.
The only "deeper research" that is required is OF the commenter, to her and her partners personal chart and the synastry between the two.
I hope that commenter and her partner have a successful family, and suggest she looks further into astrology beyond sun signs so that she can have a truly enriching experience.
I can suggest a good way to get started is a professional chart interpretation.
ps- Jeffrey...how much you wanna bet the commenter has Virgo in her chart being stimulated by the conjunction? Two sides of the same coin?!? lolz.
Put 2 Virgos in the same room...
