Everything has been confused, unstable, sometimes sweet, sometimes demented in my romantic life for about the past year. What gives?

The Saturn-Neptune opposition in the sky -- which is just now starting to wrap up -- has been transiting your Eighth House Leo planets. This house concerns emotional and sexual intimacy. Your sexual planets -- Mars and Pluto -- are here, along with Mercury in Leo and your Virgo Sun. The confusion, instability and sweetness you experience can be attributed to the influence of Neptune. This planet concerns the desire to move beyond one's identification with the small self, merging with the All and recognizing the illusory nature of boundaries. This mystically-inclined planet sometimes brings sweetness and light, but other times it brings just plain ol' delusion. When boundaries dissolve, it is hard to see the difference between me and you, between fantasy and reality. One's "ground" dissolves, one cannot see clearly.
