Waiting for a Libra man to call

I don't understand how having your friend give this guy your number is playing hard to get. You're more like being hard to give -- meaning that you're putting yourself in a passive role. It seems so "high school," but for all I know, maybe that's where you really are. A Taurus will surely not be the first sign to subvert gender roles, but geez, can't you be a bit more assertive?
Let's assume this Libra knows you're interested in him. Why would he not call?
1) He's not interested.
2) He thinks you're cute, but he doesn't really know you all that well, and you seem a bit unyielding. There is this nice, sensual quality to you -- you seem really earthy. However, he's not sure if you two would hit it off. I mean, you have a throaty voice -- that's really sexy -- but you don't really talk all that much. Does he want a silent type? He wants somebody to talk to, somebody who can match him mentally. On the other hand, maybe what he really needs is somebody to ground him, and you seem like you could do that for him. Maybe he'll sleep on it, think more about calling you ... tomorrow.

The nice thing is, once he finally calls, if he does, he will tell you EVERYTHING about why he didn't for so long, what he thinks about you, what kind of potential future you have together, bla bla bla. This is funny to me because I have had a Libra courting me for quite some time, and I am simply not interested in him, but he explains to me in detail why he is waiting, why he thinks it is a judgment error on my part that I am not taking an interest in him, and how he has already analyzed that we are the perfect pair. Libra is a sign of communication, so you may wait a while for the call, but if/when it comes, it will seem like all that time was spent figuring out what to say to you.
The thing was I waited and waited until he call me but maybe his hands was been cut, his mind was been block, his cellphones might been snatched or he don't want to call. I've been seeing with him three times but he promised to call but oh my goodness..such promises can be only fulfilled by the next century... geezzzzzz....I think he just dont want to call. Maybe, Libra is just too charming for their own good, narcissistic and too fancy. I don't like Libra now a days...All I dated for the past days were all under the sign of Libra...but oh my...do I have to be hooked by Libra alone? Libra is crook and too many promises but failed. Don't trust Libra, they are crooked.
He seduced me at first, thats the thing about Libra but after a while they will leave you like you never existed anymore. Like you we're dead..huh? Libra makes you feel good inside because they are charming creatures but they will leave you dumbfounded afterwards, after they become bored with you.
Not all Libra though, but that guy...his just I dont know with him.

You ask if you "have to be hooked by Libra alone?" I wonder what consistently draws you to this sign. Perhaps there is something in your natal chart (Libra on 7th house cusp, or 7th house ruler in Libra) that relates to your attraction. If you can become conscious of the Libra within yourself, maybe there will be less of a need to experience this let-down from others.

1. you are wicked hot, and we want to make our first conversations with you ideal.
2. you are not hot, but we don't know how to tell you that we were using your affections to make us feel good in the moment or for the benefit of others, and now that we don't have to see you, well we are dissing you...
3. we have forgotten where the hell our cellphone is...
4. we are busy making lavish plans for you and 2 other people we are interested in.
5. we will eventually call because ackk we wouldn't want to appear to be impolite...
6. we have finally worked up the nerve, because we were so excited that you called, and haven't stopped talking about you to our friends for days...
that's all i can think of off hand, but i'm sure there are plenty more reasons...

My experience with a libran who wouldn't call is just hilarious.
I'm not even sure if he's waiting for me to call, but he just wouldn't. He calls once in a blue moon when i am so not expecting it. something thats totally unexpected. Ask me why? I dont know! (perhaps its his sag influence)
Other times he will make sure he is on my mind, and he does it without calling. By sending symbolic signals.. mind you.. something like subliminal messages.
I thought he wanted me to make the move, but when i did he withdrew. so i got the hint and when i "left".. he came on strong again.
Tell me what sort of dance is this, because i am a libra too and i don't quite understand it.

You guys are not only "right" about the crookedness in Libras, they are also extremely selfish and childish. And I'll tell you why.
I was dating a Libra "boy" (he's 31 years old, but he acted like a little boy) for 2.5 years. The first two years were like playing tug and war; I kept trying to leave because I didn't like his stubborness and his narrow-mindedness. Yet,he remains persistent. Trust me, when they are interested in you; Libra guys would go out of their ways to impress you, for their own "personal" intentions and self reasons. However, if he decides to cut you loose, they can deliver your personal belongings to your front door. They will move you out of their life so fast without taking a glimpse at what you both once shared.
I got hooked onto him and all of a sudden he found the lamest excuse to dump me. Me and my friends couldn't figure out the reasons and I were confused and frustrated. I insisted to solve any possible conflict, but he wouldn't budge. Yet he still wants to be "friends"- please....you mean "bookshelf?" No way! I'm a Cap women; with dignity, I held my head up high and moved on with my life. I stayed as far away from this ruthless and unpleasant person. I suggest you do that also -anonymous. In addition, 2 months later out of the blue he called me 10 times leaving me annoyed so I finally picked up. He told me that he thought I was not able to live without him so he called to see if I was still alive. Can you believe that? Please.... 2 months later...another lame excuse. You see what I mean? This librarian thinks of himself too highly and not able to realize that he was the vulnerable and insecure one. But sadly, I don't think he will ever take time to be conscious of it due to their egocentric personalities. They never know why they made you mad, or how they made you upset. He's too busy looking at himself holding the 2 trophies in his hands; charms and righteousness- I don't have respect for him. I made sure that was the last phone call he dial to me. Ladies, Libra "boys" are eye candies, but that's all you get to have one as a boyfriend.
I have a libra man that I'm dealing with.I'm a taurus .well any way things can be going fine for us.And out of the blue he wont call or answer my calls.Also it always seems like he will wait until 3 days to call me back.But he will never say why it took him so long to call.plus one day we're having sex and he told me that he loved me and I didn't responed .I acted like I did't hear him.,so later that day I called him 2 times and he didn't answer my calls.he called me 3 days later like nothing to it.
This is a very strange title to an article. Why would anyone wait for a man to call?
My POINTS:
1)Neglect is a form of abuse. In this day in age, there is no excuse for ANY woman to wait for a man to call. He is abusing you by not calling and do not respond to abuse.
2) Always book the double-header when first getting to know a guy. Book one guy Friday night and another one Saturday night. This way you avoid getting overly into the first guy and keeping your cool. Also, if one guys screws you over, you've already got instant validation from the other one. Odds are better with two choices than just one.
Experience: I encountered a Libra man who promised to call and didn't end up calling ONE TIME. I always give men until 7:30 PM. No call by 7:30 PM and I consider that being stood up. I am at the bar by 8:30 and typically with another man by 10. As far as the Libra Man who did not call...I've removed him from my friends on myspace, I've told clients to turn their business to another vendor he competes with and I've told every friend I know his penis was smaller than a salt shaker. I will never give him any consideration. I was a fool for not being able to see his potential for such wreckless treatment to women in the upstart. I'm sure I must have been drinking the night I met him or my intuition would have been better guided.

Good advice! Thank you for sharing, I never thought of neglect as a form of abuse but it most certainly is.
We gravitate to the familiar. If our parents were egotists who neglected our needs, we got used to it, and take the same bullshit treatment from our boyfriends and spouses.

I was married to one for 11 years and then dated one for a year. My ex-mother in law is also one.
A libra man will pursue you if he wants you and will take your heart. Then he will reconsider and reconsider and simply cannot make up his mind. I thought it was me and the responsibility of family until I dated another Libra and it was EXACTLY the same.
They are very concerened about finances and status (every Libra I know). Will screw you over for a dime, if they think its fair (to them that is). Love to spend money and then complain about it. Love can be bought.
They are great with kids and turn into big kids themselves.
They will charm you and entice you and when that wears off or doesnt cut it anymore they become manipulative, lying and even violent.
They are wishy washy. Hard to change their minds and offer advice that they will consider if you are close to them. BUT they will ask a complete strangers advice and make life altering choices based on some strangers views.

This is funny because i have just experienced that... waiting a libra guy to call.... he didnt, so i called him and he was kinda weird... talking as it was normal that he didnt call or didnt give me any excuse... making me feel bad, like i am runing after him. he make himself look so busy like he doesnt have time for me but when hes with me hes so affectionate so its confuses me! i dont knnow what to do.... i might not get in touch anymore because as a gemini myself, lack of communication kills me!i rather being alone... or wait to see whats this guy really plays.
Ok! you guys hit the nail on the head. I had a libra persue me and he is still persueing me and when I start to show interest he then pulls back. I have texted him a few times and he has returned the text BUT has never been the 1st to text me. He told me one day to text him that day. I did twice and no respon. So the next time I ran into him, he too acked as if nothing had happened flirting as usael. I finilly start ignoring him and he start persueing EVEN harder.
oops I hit the wrong button and ended before I was finished. Yes, I have seen him lie through his teeth. I was recently seeing a Libra man, he has been going back and forth with me the entire time I was dating him. I wrote him an e-mail telling him how FAKE he is, with his behavior and he don't know the meaning of give and take. He flipped out on me ,sent me this three paragraph letter cursing me out. I am a gemini too ladies and im haveing the same problem there is a(communication error)with my Mr. Libra. Dam text me, call me, email me, send a bird, damitt a message in a bottle.The crazy thing is i never have to chase anyone but the libra always gives me a run 4 my money.Sure I could leave him in the dust my elment is air but hot pursuits can be fun and steamy.
