Virgo finding fault with Libra
A reader commented on Will the Virgo man commit? It's the 'finding fault with me' that is a challenge...how can a Libra woman who appreciates balance, beauty, and brains be patient enough and strong enough to get through this? The Virgo man is kind, generous, caring, and seems to love me but he sure can get critical and grumpy sometimes!I agree. It must be a challenge. Libra is ruled by relationship-focused Venus, whereas Virgo's planetary ruler is mental Mercury. Venus appreciates, Mercury analyzes. They have completely different ways of experiencing the world. Mercury doesn't care about making peace; he doesn't even have value judgments. Perhaps that's the key to living with his criticism: he's not saying that you're "bad," just that you're doing whatever you're doing in a less-than-efficient manner.
Venus can get caught up in concerns about her approval rating, but Mercury doesn't vote in popularity contests. If anything -- being the trickster -- he wants to upset the beauty pageant, showing it for the sham that it is.
Nonetheless, Virgo will do what he can to help you improve your chances of being crowned. He may do it by noting the rip in your hemline, or that your posture leaves something to be desired. He's not aware that he's hurting your feelings. The Virgo man is just trying -- the only way he knows how -- to help you win.

I'm a Libra woman, wiht Moon in Tuarus,Capricorn Asc. and Mars in Virgo.So perhgaps I find Virgo's atitude a little easier to take.
I say a little eaiser, becuase it is not all that easy.:-)
I like Virgo women to tlak to, and I do get attracted by Virgo men.However, it is true that Virgo will always have to be saying exactly what they see that needs to be corrected.
It doesn't come flying out of their mouthes the way it does with Sagitarius, nonetheless, Virgos are just plain critical imo.
But, it is true, if you understand them, you realize they are not necessarily being mean--just straightforward about what thet see..
Actually, many times I find it refreshing.

I forgot to mention somehting I beleive is important.
And that is that if we are close with a Virgo(of either sex).But, *especially* if it's a romantic relationship..and that is that telling the Virgo person how we feel when criticized is important.
I know that it will not stop a Virgo mind from being how it is--quick, and critical.However, if I can identify my feelings, and explain them well[w/o too much whining;-)] then my Virgo partner will often understand and consider a more tactful approach--it just had not entered his or her mind beforehand.
Remember the critical "barb" was not really a barb--they just see life that way.

How can Libra deal with Virgo's criticism?PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE!
As a Libra born to a Virgo father and currently waiting for my Virgo man to get off the decision fence, all I can say is that patience is key. Not just key - VITAL - to winning a Virgo over. Read up on them and you will see that what I say is true. They can wait it out forever if they have to!!!!
I am a libra w/ a virgo rising, and the person I had been interested in was a virgo w/ a gemini rising. They ended up using me as a rebound from their "past" relationship to an Aries, which had so much drama it made my head spin. The virgo ended up leaving me to start fooling around with the Aries best friend, who is a cancer. It hurt so bad. I'm still bitter.
