I'm a Leo with a Cancer rising and I just recently met a really hott Capricorn but he must have a lot of fire in his chart bc he was utterly warm and charming and he had the women eating out of his hand, I tell you. I liked him bc he locked eyes with me (very good way to pick up a Leo: Baby I only got eyes for you), he dazzled me with his smile and then he came straight up to me and introduced himself (direct). After ten minutes of talking, he invited me to tag along with him and some friends to a coffeeshop. He paid for the cab, of course, and he held the door open as I stepped off. He also impressed me bc he has an interesting job but he went the non-profit route (developing anti-pollution technologies for the developing world). It was only after he saw how I interacted with his friends that he asked for my number. I'm thinking he must have some Sag with all that Cap (idealistic, passionate, reliable). Nothing more has happened but DAMN he sure was a sexy, self-assured Capricorn. A good combo of restraint and chutzpah. I liked that. Will he call? I don't know. But he sure had me purring, I tell you.

It sounds like he also has a strong 11th house or some planets in Aquarius: "developing anti-pollution technologies for the developing world," asking for your number only after seeing how you interacted with his friends.

Okay, so he did call and we had an amazing connection. Absolutely amazing, I could read his mind and feel what he was feeling more clearly than I ever have done with anyone before (and I've a Pisces Moon, mind you, with Cancer rising.) You were right, Jeffrey, he has Venus in Aquarius. He also has a Cancer Moon and Mars in Aries. I don't know his rising sign but I'm betting it's Sag; he is totally against our "capitalistic society", not very typical for a Cappie. I know this sounds crazy but I think I'm in love. I want to talk to him again, but he's out in LA and I'm in NY. *sigh* I'm trying to send him a telepathic message so that he will call, I don't want to dampen his Mars in Aries, but with my Mars in Sag in the 5th, man, it's hard to be passive! I'm gnashing my teeth so bad, I need a night guard. Anyway, that's the update.

BIG question: as a Capricorn, the last 4 months of 2006 were *really* sucky for me. Any ideas on why?

The last few months of 2006 may have been sucky for you for reasons that have nothing to do with being a Cap. I haven'te been seduced by a capricorn!!! That's the problem... I don't want to give him the impression that I'm easy but I just want him to ask me out allready!!!!!!!!!!!! We've had a work relationship for six years.... where he is my client... so... it is my duty to keep things professional... but how can i let him know i'm interested without seeming desperate? Well, I'm a cancer (aquarius moon/aquarius rising) waiting for this cap to freaking call me!!!! We've had a professional relationship for six years or so... he being my client... and the other day out of nowhere he kissed me!!!! Steam was coming out of my ears.... I'm a Cancer, with cancer moon. I dated a Capricorn a few times. Then he just backed off. Do all Capricorns go moody when they don't get their own way?
Wow, that really sums it up. I (a Cancer female) was pursued by a Capricorn male in this fashion.
His moon’s in Cancer, so in that sense he was never up-front about his intentions, but he would still make these expensive, extravagant gestures that gave him away.
He's undoubtedly a sweet, decent guy - certainly not all about possessions, but strangely enough it was with possessions that he chose to express his feelings. Wealth and status don't do it for me, since they're both things I can obtain myself and therefore have no need to avidly seek in a partner. (I hope that didn't sound conceited?)
I really only have eyes for one man, and I'm just sorry to say it isn't him.
I hope he finds someone who can make him happy, because he deserves it.
