Leo man Virgo man relationship
I hate to break it to you guys, but unless you've got some juicy Mars-Mars connection, this relationship is likely to cause friction. Leo -- ruled by the Sun -- wants to shine in the spotlight, whereas modest, Mercury-ruled Virgo stays behind the scenes. One of you is prissy, and the other flamboyant.Leo is the King (... or Queen), and Virgo is the humble servant. If Virgo is content to take care of all the pragmatic household matters so that Leo can revel in his self-importance, then this relationship could work out just fine. Also, Leo can add some much-needed fire to Virgo's routine, while Virgo can keep Leo grounded.
But beware ... put together a fault-finding Virgo and a prideful Leo, and you get a wounded Lion ... and Lions do not react kindly to criticism.

hi. i am a leo. my x-husband is a virgo. i now avoid getting into relationships with virgos like it's the plague. also, our eastern signs (me, ox; he, rat) were described as "sexually thrilling but disastrous in marraiage" and all I can say is disastrous, indeed.
If there were a plague, the Virgos would be the only ones left. Being that your ex is a rat, then he's even more likely to survive.
You said it, not me: my ex is a rat! LOL. He's actually a roach, but wait... that's not a "real" sign... LOL again!
I'm a Leo with Virgo Rising. I meet Virgos all the time, and they drive me crazy. Meek is not the word I'd ever use to describe them, they are powerfully commanding about their need to control everything because of their efficient analysis of situations, and inability to let go of their conclusions as possibly not necessary or essential to follow. They also suffer much inner guilt for not being perfect, and judge themselves. This translates to feeling both inadequate next to their partner, and repressive because the Virgo Ego, giant as it is, won't reveal mistakes.

I have Virgo rising as well, and as annoyed as I am with my partner's Venus in Virgo and packed 6th house, I must admit that I react strongly to this "need to control everything" because it's also a part of me. Mind you, just a part, since my Pisces Sun would just as easily hand the wheel over to someone else (or should I say, "Someone Else"?)

I'm very good being in the spotlight, and to be honest, I find it a great feeling. I also find that I don't tend to be a perfectionist, about anything. My boyfriend however, is exactly like that, I can drive him nuts because I don't care if everything is in perfect order and harmony. My dad is a leo and my mother is a virgo they been divorced since i was three.
My mothers personality brought out the worst in my dads. ALL the dark lion traits. Also my dads sister is a virgo and he usually leaves her house with a pout.

This is very true!!! I'am the healthy perfectionist and flaw seeking virgo male and my ex is the Crazy wild and attention wanting leo. We broke up after a huge arguement at a club. We still dont talk to this day. He did call me drunk dial many times however...

hey guys i need advice
i am a 23 year old cancer woman and i just broke things off with a scorpio man. his venus is in scorpio his moon as well and mars in capricorn.

i find it out to figure him out and he is a big ball of mystery october will make it a year that we have been knowing one another. he told me he doesnt see things working with us because we worked at it twice throughout this year and i still feel as if he is putting up a wall between us and that he can be cold. he was hurt very deeply early last year and i felt and he told me that his feelings and the way he treat women has changed since that.

I am a Virgo woman with a Leo man. We get along beautifully most of the time, with a strong intuitive connection and lots in common. Similar instincts.
The occasional fight does tend to get ugly because he becomes immature and irrational (to the point of not remember things he said only minutes before, and calling me names), while I withdraw and feel disrespected. My gentle, rational approach only infuriates him. But if I try to match his craziness that doesn't go over well either -- and I feel untrue to myself. Anyway, we're working on all this.
He's taught me that it's ok to fight sometimes, and that getting closer is more important that being right and accurate. I'm teaching him how to fight in a less damaging way.
Interestingly, he is the finicky, super-clean, organized one, and can be too critical. And he doesn't have any Virgo in his chart! I like these traits (except the critical-ness), as well as his typical Leo ones: loud, playful, bold, charming, well-dressed.
I am organized like Virgos are supposed to be, but otherwise am daydreamy, forgetful, passionate, unpredictable, easy going and flashy. Maybe it's my Pisces moon and Leo in venus?

Virgos make great exes, they dont communicate and they buy whores to take the place of Leo women, Virgos never pay alimony or child support so dont marry them or have children with them, they dont make good parents either, they like to drink and screw around, they are the most useless sign of the zodiac.
@Rachel, It sounds like you've had a horrible experience, but your Virgo ex's behavior may not be attributable to his Sun sign, as many of your complaints don't resonate with this sign's nature.
Hi. I am a leo and my boyfriend of almost 2 years is a Virgo. It's strange because from the very beginning he (who is very big in astrology) has always said we would do great because Virgos and Leos are the best signs for eachother.
We were best friends for five years before we go together. When we got together everything was great for a really long time. Lots of passion and affection, which I needed, lots of communication, even if he did come across as judgmental sometimes. But seemed like we really had the love to work through it all and overcome anything. Now I am not so sure. We hardly talk anymore, there's hardly any passion, its heartbreaking. My prideful leo doesn't want to let it go, but he doesn't seem to want to work on it anymore.
Is it really hopeless?

Here's a possible virgo perspective: First, he feels a bit exhausted by your constant needs but is too self-sacrificing to insist on some strengthening activities and time for himself. Virgos are helpers you know, even if they can't do it anymore and it's just in their heads. So he just gets distant while you are there. Second, when you were 'communicating' so well before, it was too rough for him. It was a bit dramatic, sometimes irrational, and often unnecessary. This kind of thing is good for the virgo in some ways, but it also takes its toll. Can you do a more gentle emotional dance? Can you let him have the spotlight now and then (and not be ostentatiously patting yourself on the back for letting him)? Third, Virgos often respond to the little things being fixed, because the little things get to them. My leo boyfriend showed up the other night with a yellow rose, which was lovely, but he also showed up with three batteries, which warmed my heart. See, my flashlight had been dim for about 6 months and it's been bothering me, and the fact that I hadn't fixed it was making me feel guilty.... Leos are good at swooping in and fixing stuff like that. Fourth: Strike up a conversation about something intellectual, listen carefully to his thoughts, and pronounce them interesting and illuminating.

Thanks for the words of advice, but I still need help. One, I am a shy leo who actually hates being in the spot light, I know it's strange, but very true. He is the outgoing, social butterfly while I prefer cozy nights on the couch and sometimes maybe hitting up a lounge to enjoy a cocktail or two. I am a Leo with my Rising Sun in Virgo and Moon in Aries. He is a Virgo with a rising sun in Scorpio and Moon in Aquarius.
I am positive I am not the easiest to live with, or be in a relationship with, but neither is he, and he knows it because we both constantly joke to one another like that. His co-workers always say to him "how does she put up with you 24/7" and he says "that's why she gets all the pretty presents". Which was another part of the problem. As a Virgo, can you please tell me why materials are worth everything? Please. Because I could care less about the name brands, and more about taking that money to save and start a family. I don't know how many times I have expressed that to him, but it's the image that always matters. Why do Virgo's always make us Leo's feel like we need to be something else instead of just who we are? But then express that you don't mean to make us feel that way?
The communicating all started with his idea. The need to talk about everything, knit-pick everything. It got to the point I can't even talk to him anymore, because someone who was once my very best friend is just a complete ball of judgment (and though he doesn't mean for it to come across as judgment, it does) we can't even have a simple conversation, because no matter what I say, he's opposite, and there is no hearing someone else's side, it's his side and everyone should agree. I am constantly praising him for his successes and letting him know how proud I am of him. Taking care of things around the house because I know he was is stressed from work and just needs to sit down and relax. Doing all of the little things and fixing stuff while also trying to be myself, and trying to get some relaxing time from my stressful day too, becomes extremely tiring. To the point where you don't even want to do it anymore because it takes two to be in a relationship.
I truly do love him. Everytime the thought of us not being together comes to mind, my chest feels like it's being ripped to shreads and I can't breathe. He used to always say that we were going to ride this till the wheels fell off and when they did we would be right there fixing them and putting them back on. Where did that promise go?
My Mars in Leo has no use for Virgos. It roars so load they go deaf. Those pesky little monkeys can pick their own ears and noses and stay out of my mane, which is long and flowing and just the way it's supposed to be. I annoy Virgos and they annoy me. The paradox is my Venus in Virgo loves them all the same. Those little monkeys can be so adorable, hanging from those branches upside down, cocking their little heads every which way trying to see things from every perspective, never missing a flea. All creatures great and small, gotta love them all.
