I have written about RapLeaf before. The simple truth is that in our day and age, companies are collecting a whole lot of information about us, and are then selling it to advertisers. For a fee, RapLeaf can sell you information like a person’s interests. If you know that someone is into crocheting, you can sell them more targeted ads.
As a blogger, the information I can get from RapLeaf is useful insofar as it tells me more about my audience. For example, the vast majority of Sasstrology readers are female, single, and in the 25-34 age range. I mean, duh, none of this is a surprise, but it can be a useful statistic if I want to attract advertisers who want to reach this demographic.
